Torben to host the Alimentum Cam Jam 2009 10 Dec ’08
Torben has been selected to host the new annual Cam Jam at Alimentum restaurant in Cambridge. Performing alongside Cambridge veteran Andy Bowie on tenor sax, Torben will offer a set of originals and standards before presiding over the jam session. This is sure to draw the cream of Cambridge's jazzers so book early to avoid disappointment.
Soultrane 1 Dec ’08
The fabulous Soultrane made their debut appearance at the Michaelhouse Centre in Cambridge. With a five-piece horn section, we really rocked the place performing some old Ray Charles and Louis Jordan tunes. Watch this space for further gigs!
Debut at the 606 30 Nov ’08

Torben and his band travelled down to Chelsea to entertain at a fancy birthday party at the 606. A great time was had by all, especially when Steve Rubie joined in on the flute. Awesome!
Jam at the 606 30 Nov ’08
Torben makes another appearance at the 606. Steve Rubie and his awesome Latin band Samara were playing some hot Brazilian tunes with the fabulous vocalist Liliana Chachian. In the third set, Steve asked Torben to join in for a jam: It was so cool. Steve was brilliant as usual on the flute and the legend Dill Katz was on bass!
Kiss Me Kate 28 Nov ’08
For the first time since school Torben tries his hand at musical theatre. Clare College Music Society approached him asking if hed like to do a cameo appearance singing Too Darn Hot in Cole Porters classic Kiss Me Kate. The show was a great success and sold out every night.
